[tng] frontpage
Following
reports national newspapers in July 2002 about proposed new developments
at the British Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) Aldermaston,
Aldermaston Women's Peace Camp(aign) launched a new campaign called
"Aldermaston - the next generation", or [tng] for short.
On 22 August 2002 AWE called a press conference at which they presented
a public information leaflet which details some of the non-classified

The [tng] webpages are here to offer a single point of reference
of activists, campaigners and the public. As such, we will endeavour
to ensure that the following type of information is regularly updated:
campaign resources and events; ideas for what everyone can do about
the proposed developments; responses from campaigners to moves by
AWE and the Ministry of Offence.
If you have ideas for other types of information which you think
would be useful for activists and campaigners who are working on
this issue, please sned a brief email with your ideas to our webmistress
(mailto:link below).
The [tng] webpages are maintained by women
from the Aldermaston Women's Peace Camp(aign) (AWPC). The menu at
the far left of the page will help you navigate around the [tng]
pages. The nav bars at the top and bottom of each page provide the
primary links to the rest of the AWPC site.
If you would like to send us a donation
towards the [tng] campaign, please make cheques (in GBP£ only)
payable to AWPC and send to: 157 Lyndhurst Road, Worthing, West
Sussex, BN11 2DG. Make sure you include a note telling us that the
money is for [tng] campaigning work (as opposed to generic camp
funds).
Thanks.
